Happy Thanksgiving Week.

What in your life do you and your family have to be thankful for?

I am thankful that I am healthy enough to get back to work. I love the fact that I can travel all over the world now for free.
I am thankful that all 3 of my children are home and close by now for the first time in almost 10 years. Hard to believe that they were all over the place after my oldest left for college. The youngest has finally finished and come back into the fold. They are happy seeing each other often. I guess I am officially over Empty Nest. My nest filled back up. It's nice having them around again. And not have to raise them anymore. They are officially raised and grown. We may still tweak them from time to time. But the tough part is over. For that I am Thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

Hello Carol,

Wow! All three of your kids nearby and grown up. Heaven, huh? LOL

On this end, I am in the 'raising' mode myself. Nontheless, I am enjoying them while they are still around to do so with.

Have a happy thanksgiving,

Enid

hi carol,

what a beautiful blog and tribute to your children. the good thing about having them all there now is that you don't have to raise them, and can enjoy them on a different level than when they were growing up.

my schedule is a busy one right now, but i'll be glad when i'm finished and hopefully can have my daughter and all of my grandchildren close by.

the Bible says to be thankful in all things, so even when things aren't going right, i really try to have that attitude of thankfulness.

hope your holidays were good. enjoy the rest of your weekend, and have a great week coming up.

hugs,
sylvia

Hi Carol,

What a nice surprise to hear from you on my blog.

Maybe Franny could put up a blog for on-line dating experiences.
We all could learn from it, even if like me, never tried.
I went through the perfectmatch compatibility profile, but had a problem putting out an advertisement of myself.
So never joined.

What happened to the "next door"--Arizona friend you mentioned a couple times?

It has been an interesting year here in our blogging world, and I am looking forward to sharing our experiences this New Year,
Ellen

Hi Carol,
I sent you an e-mail in response to your post on my blog. The attachment is a picture of my "old" convertible (74 Jag.) safely garaged for the winter in not so sunny Ohio.
The RR groupie I was talking about is "dreamweaver" or Val the Gal. Wonder whatever happened to her, she lost her forum with the closure of the BS blog. She sure had anger problems! Maybe by now she has found the right herbs to cure her woes, LOL.
I am picturing you riding off into the sunset in your Miata.
Make it an awesome experience!
Ellen
