As we enter new stages of our lives, what have we learned?
I have learned that I don't want to move to a new place. I like where I live.
I am thrilled that I finally got hired by an airline, and that I can now fly around
the world and visit all my blogging friends when I want to roam around the country.
And I know the timing is right to go back to work. I can't wait.
I miss my youngest one who now lives in Denver.
I am thrilled that my daughter is starting Medical School next month.
And my oldest son cracks me up laughing.
I love I-CHAT. I turn on my computer and my youngest child is usually on line working.
I get a Hello Momma, How's your day? Everyday. I love it.
I am having a good day. How was yours?

Hi Dale,
Thank you for stopping by. Arizona is definately on my list of places to go. I loved Sedona. I hope the fires didn't do too much damage. I want to return and really explore.
Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado are still on my must see things to go see and explore. Now that I can fly for free, I will be roaming again.
Have an awesome night everyone.

Hi Carol
I just wanted to wish you a BIG congratulations on your new job with the airline...
Let me know if you're ever out this way. The closest airport is San Luis Obispo (SBP) midway between LA and SF.
What kind of dog is Izzie? I don't think I've ever seen a picture of him...also could not find one of
Granny on carolannphotography.com
...but I do love the pictures you have there :)

Hi Carol! We're havin' a heat wave! a tropical heat wave...la la la la...Yes, it's only going to get worse by the weekend here - in some places we're going to hit over 105F. Well, I guess you might be used to it but that's purdy dern hawt fer us fokes.

Those photos of Robbie were a hoot, weren't they! He looked so funny I couldn't stop laughing and thank goodness my daughter laughed too. She get so mad at me sometimes when I forget to put up the baby gate.

Hope you have a good one. I'm off to visit my son-in-law who is trapped at home with 3 broken bones in his foot. Coffee's on its way!

Take care of that shoulder and get the proper therapy...no one else will do it for you...you have to take care of yourself ok? OK...

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CAROL!
So did you have your birthday off or did you have to work?
How's your shoulder?

I remember once time we were scheduled to have the movers come to pack us up and we had an unexpected snowstorm so of course it was cancelled for a few days...this was just before Thanksgiving in Colorado Springs...that was a messy move...we were going to Germany so half of our things were going into storage and the rest was going with us to Germany.

I hope all's going well with the new job and the move.

Ciao,

hi carol,

thanks for sharing the pics of your family. you all look so beautiful together. that was really thoughtful of them to not only celebrate your birthday, but to surprise you by flying in your other son.

izzie looks like she is exploring and enjoying her new home.

i must have missed about you hurting your shoulder--perhaps while i was in california. i'm sorry to hear about that, but glad that you have doctors and physical theraphy to help you with it.

now that you're all moved in and pretty much set up, you can relax a bit and enjoy the beach. to use your own words, "have an awesome day!"

Hi Gorgeous,
Thanks for the picture of you and Gram's last week. She looks fantastic, more like 71 than 91.
Looks like her great "jeanes" have passed onto you.

Tell the future D.O. hello; she has no idea how lucky she is to be with you.
The toughest part for me when going through Medical School (as it still is) was not having any family in this country.
My than 6 and 5 year old boys is literally all I had, not even a car. But it was all worth it!!!! And as my pictures show you, I made up for not having a car back than.
Have an awesome week,
Ellen

hi carol, aren't you glad you found out about him up front? some people go on and on, then can't seem to break it off because they're emotionally involved. good for you for having the courage to cut it off now. i'm with you; not going to settle for anything.

is your son moved back yet? i hope you've had a great day.

hi carol,

injuries really take more time to heal than what jobs want to give you time off for. take it easy lifting so you won't re-injure it before it heals completely. glad you won't need surgery though.

definitely get "our" miata back. *lol* have a great day today; it's 1:56am here now.

hi carol,

school is off to a fast start, but i'm moving a little slower. still trying to get acclimated back into the old millgrind. not easy after being off for spring and summer. almost wished i'd taken fall off too, but then i'm sure that would have made it that much harder when i started back in winter. the thing now is to get going and keep going until graduation in june.

i feel like a racehorse coming in for the stretch. the only thing is it doesn't matter if i don't come in first for my race, just as long as i cross that line--which i most definitely will.

hope your shoulder is continuing to feel better. have a great weekend.
