IT'S PACK AND MOVE TIME FOLKS.

I am moving on September 2nd into my new house. Anyone who has moved as much as I have knows what that means.
It's called clean and purge time. If I haven't worn it in a year ( I know they say 6 months, but we only have cold weather for 3 months). If I haven't used it in 6 months, it is gone. I am again downsizing.

Now I will have a garage and I will have no problem filling it up. And it is under air if I want it. He has it blocked off right now. I may use it for storage of clothing, etc. He has shelves on all the walls. The closets are not like my townhouse which has a ton of them. He is putting a garage door opener in for me. And painting. The people in there now did a number with colors. What do people think when they paint such horrid colors. He is spraying the whole place with primer, then starting from scratch in colors I like. Before I get in. Hence the 2nd move in after I get movers over here in the morning. I am cutting it close, but he swears he can spray quickly. I will have a cleaning crew in there on the 1st at 9 am before he flies into town from DC. Bathrooms, kitchen and floors. Then I will tarp the floors, and he can go to town. Timing will be everything. Pray for no hurricanes.

I will also be in school refreshing my dealing skills at least 3 times a week. Auditions for a new casino are in September and I need to get ready so I can get hired. Vacation time is over for sure.

What is everyone else up to this August?

We moved 9 times in 11 years. It's good to purge. What do you mean "it's under air"?
If I lived closer, I'd help! (And you could practice dealing with/on me!

Thank you Kathy.
The garage is under air. He had it closed in when he lived there with his family years ago. It was his daughters room. its even tiled. I asked if I should put something down for the motorcycle and he said no. He had extra tile for that reason. My new landlord is really awesome and a good friend.

I've been in my home for 15 years and I couldn't imagine moving. I have so much stuff! Stuff and no motivation for cleaning it out, at least not during the summer. Good luck to you with your move. Sounds like it's going to be a great place to live once you get it to your liking.
