The Castle was just spectacular this year!!

My neighbors came over last night and asked if I could help hang up some lights for them. It seems my other and only Christian neighbor gave them some Hanukkah lights to celebrate the Festival of Lights. This particular family is very generous on every Holiday. We all find interesting gifts on our door steps for every holiday. This family home schools their kids, so they consider it the art part of school. A very sweet and loving family for sure. My next door neighbors had been loving my lights so much. when they got theirs they had to hang them up. I seem to be the resident expert.

I think Disney had a few more light hangers to pull this castle off for sure. This is getting my all time favorite so far for Holiday castles.

What is your favorite memory of lights that you have seen?

I would have to say that the Disney Castle is one of my all time favorites too. I am from Richmond, Virginia so there is a neighborhood in Richmond that competes with lights every year. The news anchors ride around and vote their favorite house. Every year this one house would win. She was a foster parent. But, when I tell you the outside of her home looked like an amusement park. She had a HUGE house and the yard was filled with entertainment, noise and lights galore! She said she has A LOT of generators to keep it all going. I wonder what her electric bill looked like. LOL!

Most of the Magic Kingdom rubbed me the wrong way. It was too...I dunno...kiddish for my liking. My trip was most fulfilling at MGM and Universal Studios (especially the Island of Adventure).

Still, the castle was a sight to behold.

Hi Andre,
Thanks for stopping by. My favorite parks are The Animal Kingdom and Epcot. I only go to the Magic Kingdom under duress or if someone's never been before.
The Animal Kingdom is a zoo, so you can just wander and watch all day. The silver back apes and meircats are so much fun to just watch how they interact. The parks were too packed this time for any leisure. January is usually quiet.
Hi Kimpossible,
I am probably going to go see a local neighborhoods decorations tonight. Pretty.

Have an awesome night.

Hi Beachgirl,
That's a wonderful display of lights in a Disney castle. Must be fantastic up close. You are fortunate to have very friendly neighbors who share their art works as Christmas gifts to your family and looks up to you as an expert in setting up Christmas lightings. Merry Christmas in advanced. God bless and have a wonderful weekend.

Today is the annual FUN IN THE SUN TOYS FOR TOTS RUN. Now I hear I won't make it out of 2nd gear.
Now they are closing off a huge portion of I 95 south bound and 595 East all the way to the destination. A traffic nightmare for sure. But hey.10,000 motorcycles riding for a great cause can't be all bad.

Last night my daughter and I went to a Keith Urban concert. If you ever get the chance, he is worth the money and then some. He played for 2 1/2 hours, was having so much fun, the band stayed and lingered with the crowd after the lights came on. His encore was 20 minutes of non stop fun.

But now it's time to ride for the kids with my friends of merry misfits. Their wives call them the Possy. Pretty funny. (bunch of local business owners) The party in the park is supposed to be out of this world with great music, and a whole lot of bikers. Last year the band was Foreigner.

Have an awesome day.
