We had a great day for charity in South Florida.
Over 20,000 motorcycles rode today, every bike had a toy to donate.
It took over 5 hours for everyone to arrive at the destination.
5 hours of the interstates being closed to all traffic so all the bikes
could ride safely.

I do believe I will do this ride every year. Our group of 12 bikes all donated $30 a rider
so we could be in the front of the pack. And we were an hour back into the pack. I would guess
at least 5,000 bikes paid the VIP money. Not a bad day for charity.
Mind blowing, the cops were all on bikes all along the 25 mile route. People standing on bridges,
sitting in chairs on the side of t I 95 waving and holding up signs that said Thank You.
Just a great weekend all in all.

My daughter and I went to see Keith Urban last night. Wow!!!

What fun things have you done this weekend?

ok, the numbers are in.
Over 30,000 riders took place in todays toy run.
Well done. 3 counties police and sheriff departments motorcycle units took part in keeping us all safe to ride another day. I think the number was 300 police took place. 30 riding clubs organized the event. It just keeps growing.

Just a fun way to spend my day.

Hi Beachgirl,
Fantastic picture you have there. It must have been an awesome sight to behold when thousands of bikes ride together for a worthy cause. Sure erases the stigma of hell riders so common in the movies. Thanks for the fantastic post. God bless and have a wonderful and pleasant day.

Hi Mel,
It was a sight to behold. Just a wall of bikes. I was impressed by how organized it was. Everyone was so nice and outgoing. Which bikers tend to be for sure. I swear we talk to everyone. Admire each others bikes, etc.
I hear "That's a big bike for a little girl like you!" But it's all good. I really like my bike. It fits me.

Have an awesome day!

We were out on the motorbike last Sunday....a Honda CB1300. Set off in lovely sunny yet crisp weather....came home in the freezing cold, snow on the side of the road. That's the best thing about biking in the cold......coming home.

Reminds me of Friday the 13th at Port Dover, Ontario. (http://www.pd13.com/) We can never get to our cottage on those days...

You are very lucky...No riding weather here for us. We've had rain, rain, rain and wet roads.
